A few kilometres from the lighthouse, on Ruta 9, this boutique winery grows its vines on gentle hills cooled by the Atlantic breeze, just 7 km from the ocean. The classic visit takes you through the vineyard and the olive grove and ends with a tasting of four wines — rosé, chardonnay, merlot and tannat — paired with sourdough bread and the estate's own olive oils.

For the more curious there's the Ultramar experience, with wines aged in the winery's underwater cellar, plus a restaurant to stretch the afternoon over a few glasses. It's the perfect plan if you want small-scale wine tourism with a maritime identity, without leaving the José Ignacio area. Book ahead, and keep in mind that the winery closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
