CasaChica opened on December 19, 2025 at Ruta 10 km 182.5, on the corner of Los Lobos, in José Ignacio. According to its own presentation, it is the fifth hotel of Uruguay's Tay group and has 21 rooms in five categories, from superior rooms with a terrace to two- and three-bedroom apartments with ocean views.

In summer the heated rooftop pool and the hotel's own beach bar on Mansa beach operate, the bar from midday to 8 pm. Inside is Curado, a shop for cheese, charcuterie and wine.
