Hidden among the rolling hills around Pueblo Garzón is one of South America's most awarded olive oil mills. The visit starts with a short film on olive culture, continues with a guided walk through the production process and a tractor-drawn cart ride through the olive groves, and closes with a tasting of three extra virgin oils served with bread, walnuts and olives.

The finishing touch is blending your own oil in a 250 ml bottle to take home as a souvenir. It's a different plan from the area's classic wine tourism: here the olive tree is the star, with the Garzón hills as a backdrop. Visits require advance booking on selected weekend dates; a calendar for 2026 has been published. Perfect for foodies and for a grey day in the countryside.
