On the Rocha side, between km 190 and 198 of Route 10, come the ocean beaches of El Caracol, Costa Bonita and El Bonete, publicly accessible inside the protected area.

La Playita in El Caracol, on the lagoon, is the best spot for the sunset and for calm-water SUP and kayaking; the outings of Discover Laguna Garzón leave from there. Camping, fires and driving onto the dunes are not allowed: the protected area's rules are available at the visitor centre.
