Founded by Miguel Zerebny and Sebastián Manuele, Galería Los Caracoles is, according to the gallery itself, one of the pioneers of José Ignacio and has been in the village for almost two decades. It represents more than eighty Uruguayan and Argentine artists and sits in the centre of the village, next to shops and lodgings.

According to the listing, it opens only in high season, December to March, from 11 am to 7 pm.
