Founded by Miguel Zerebny and Sebastián Manuele, Galería Los Caracoles is one of the pioneering galleries of José Ignacio and has been in the village for almost two decades. It represents more than eighty national and Argentine artists, with a proposal that broke with what could be seen in the resort when it opened. It is part of the small centre, surrounded by shops and lodgings, with the dunes and the sea as a backdrop.

The gallery opens only in high season, from December to March, from eleven to seven. It is a central stop on the area's growing art circuit, which today combines beaches, woodland and exhibition spaces. If you come in summer and are interested in the region's painting and sculpture, you will find a wide panorama here of established and emerging names. It is worth checking the exhibition schedule before going.
