OTRA Workshop is the menswear-and-tailoring label of Uruguayan designer Gustavo Rodríguez Olivera. By the brand's own account it began in 2016 in a garage in Pocitos, a Montevideo neighbourhood, and in 2021 opened El Refugio Oriental in La Juanita, its first shop. The garments mix gaucho references with rock, using Uruguayan raw materials, including vintage fabrics recovered from closed mills such as Paylana.

La Juanita is the stretch of Ruta 10 just before José Ignacio, so the shop is a short drive from the village. The brand also lists shops in Montevideo's Ciudad Vieja and in the United States.
