In a restored late-1800s house with a fuchsia facade you couldn't miss if you tried, La Pulpería revives the spirit of the old roadside general stores: a gathering place in Pueblo Garzón where you can have a drink, eat well and browse design. American Amanda Dean opened the space with natural drinks, homemade pastries and vegetarian sandwiches, plus a guesthouse on the same property.

Inside, the café shares the space with La Casa de las Hermanas, a concept store of South American art and design that brings in DJs over summer. The bet is to defy Garzón's sharp seasonality and keep a meeting point open year-round — something the village had been needing. If you're in Garzón for the day, it's the natural stop between galleries and lunch.
