The Copa Presidencia opens each polo season in José Ignacio, between late December and early January, with matches at Santa Cruz Polo Club, Estancia Vik and Rükenwind Polo.

The 2025-26 edition was played from 26 December to 3 January. Free entry at most grounds; check the Uruguayan Polo Association fixture. It is followed in January by the Uruguayan Polo Open.
