Laura Moñino, an IKO international instructor and South American windsurfing runner-up in 1992, runs this water sports school with more than 32 years of uninterrupted history, one of the most renowned in South America and the only IKO center in Uruguay. Its base on Ruta 10, on the shore of Laguna Garzón, takes advantage of an ideal body of water for learning: shallow, flat water where you can stand and usable wind from almost any direction within the lagoon.

The offer is broad: lessons and rental of kitesurf, windsurf, wingfoil, stand-up paddle, kayaks and light sailing boats, plus sailing courses. The grounds work like a small beach club, with equipment storage, a bar and even accommodation so you can stay overnight beside the lagoon. It's the classic starting point for anyone who wants to get into wind sports in the area.
