Azul Marino sits on Calle La Farola, about 300 metres in from Ruta 10 at km 185, on a quiet rise just north of the village of José Ignacio. There are 12 rooms with independent access and private terraces, several with wide decks offering partial views of the sea and the lighthouse, all surrounded by dense gardens that give it the feel of a coastal farmhouse rather than a hotel.

The day starts with a daily breakfast offering buffet, continental and gluten-free options, and continues at the heated outdoor pool or on one of the house bikes. The beach is a short walk away and the village five minutes by car, just enough to keep the restaurants close without sleeping in the middle of the bustle.
