Inclusive signage at José Ignacio lighthouse

In 2025 Maldonado Council installed inclusive tourism signage at the José Ignacio lighthouse: tactile 3D models, braille information and QR codes with multimedia content. The aim is for everyone to be able to discover the history and attractions of the lighthouse and the Laguna Garzón area.

Similar signage is planned for the circular bridge over Laguna Garzón and at the AFE station, so the inclusive experience extends to other emblematic points in the region.
