Improvements on Route 10: new section enabled
The section of Route 10 between La Paloma and La Pedrera (Department of Rocha) was enabled with signage improvements, shoulder reinforcement and updated signage. It is the stretch that many use to reach the coast of Roche and, from there, towards the Laguna Garzón.
Practical recommendations: The Ministry of Transport and the Municipality of Rocha recommend driving with caution in the first days of authorization and respecting the speed limits (generally 90 km/h in rural sections, according to the signs). Access from Route 10 towards José Ignacio and Laguna Garzón (through Maldonado) remains unchanged.
