By the same account, the hospital takes more complex cases from across the east of the country and has a paediatric intensive care unit. For visitors, coverage is arranged with the provider directly, not through the portal: the conditions and any costs of extending it to Maldonado and Rocha are requested from them, and the portal does not publish them.
