If you want to take home something from Garzón that isn't a photo, this is the essential stop. La Casa de las Hermanas, founded in 2022 by American Amber Wright, works as a concept store for South American art and design: ceramics, textiles, vintage pieces and clothing for adults and kids, with a curation that now spans more than 25 makers from Uruguay and Argentina, including brands like Ound, Lanas Garzón, Tierra Negra and Gauderia.
Since summer 2025 you'll find it in its new home inside La Pulpería, the fuchsia building facing the town's main square. The ideal plan is to pair your visit with a coffee and stay a while browsing the shelves: every piece has an author with a first and last name, and in season they add events with music that turn the shop into the town's meeting point.
