Francis Mallmann's Chiringuito sits on the dunes of Route 10 at km 185.5, facing the sea. Open-air cooking with a clay oven and grill, Uruguayan dishes and the fire always in view. It is a different place from Restaurante Garzón, the same chef's house in Pueblo Garzón.

It opens only in season, from midday, and bookings go through Meitre. It is one of January's most sought-after tables, so plan ahead.
